As a Pastry Chef at Crave, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and culinary skills by preparing delicious plant-based pastries and cakes.

Your ability to experiment with flavors, textures, and ingredients will contribute to the unique offerings at Crave. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality baking will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. Experience in lamination and viennoiserie production is preferred.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute plantbased pastry recipes, including cakes, cookies and other specialty items.
• Prepare and decorate pastries according to Crave's standards of excellence.
• Collaborate with the team to create new menu items that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain inventory and order ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Willing to assist in all necessary daily kitchen duties.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a specialty bakery or café setting.
• Knowledge of plantbased baking techniques, ingredient substitutions, and allergen considerations is a big plus
• Creativity and ability to innovate while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
