    We look for an enthusiastic, Mendix Developer, with a strong affinity of model driven development, who is capable of translating business requirements to the workflow landscape to ensure most fitting employee experience. The focus is on Document & Content Services NL. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and very dynamic environment that requires stakeholder management and presentation abilities. At the same time you understand data streams, breath designs and provide integrations over systems that smoothen and improve our workflow portal experience for customer communication purposes.

    The position and work environment

    Within the service Tribe Document & Content Services NL, we are responsible to provide the best fitting document management and inbound & outbound customer communication solutions with direct touchpoints that safeguard legal product communication requirements and support customer experience. We serve our internal consumers from four disciplines that are organized in Areas. All are interlinked with one another. The position is set within the Area Communication as a Service (CaaS).

    Area (CaaS) is the front-line towards our internal consumers like KYC, Consumer Loans, Mortgages, in which we provide solutions from a customer communication management perspective using content delivery capabilities. Here we deliver system communication that drives digitization and straight through processing. Simply put, we take care of content design, distribution and management of letters, inbox messages, mails etc. – and all matters related, through our touchpoints with customers. Currently, we are on the move towards business delegation and self-service model. The system communication is administratively governed with our communication content portal (CoCoS) that is built with Mendix. Here comes the position & team into play.

    You function within a multidisciplinary and self-organizing team that is responsible of maintaining and qualitative progressing the portal within a Mendix context. The team is frequently in contact with internal business consumers and area members to improve workflow management, UI designs and integrate features . reports, metric dashboards that supports insights about the customer journeys' communication. The workflows embodies all metadata, information and functional designs related to their messages. Customers Journeys Experts can request changes and new messages, internet documents and printed matter, while the team stays in check with the related suppliers. A deeper understanding of the Tribe's capabilities locally and globally, our communication chain & policy is proven valuable to translate requirements accordingly. The requirements surface from a complex environment. The team keeps the screens & models clean and sustain the underlying workflow engine & platform in line with life cycle management upgrades and risk policies. Other matters of importance is the ability to connect databases, infra substances and logics around it. Cooperation, ideation and representation are key elements the team aims to demonstrate. To remain future proof, there is a strong need to enable business delegation, the portal layer is one of the applications that supports the road to success.

    The role and responsibilities

  • As a Mendix Developer within Communication as a Service, you have an important role in translating insights to functional requirements and improving the portal that meets the needs of tomorrow's world. By so doing, you are able to prioritize well with the Area & team and have a strong sense of business value.
  • At the same time, you have a clear understanding of testing the models against requirements and you are naturally equipped to drive & guide change.
  • Aside of developing the portal further, maintaining the platform is of importance equally. The ability to train & explain to others plainly and having a continuous learning ambition with(in) the team is significantly valued.
  • In addition, you have a critical eye for (UI) designs and thorough view on data streams related to workflows and the self-service portal. You strive for state-of-the-art (generic) solutions that fit D&CS local and global (data/content) vision.
  • Moreover you are able to represent yourself and the team's product properly, and maintaining the dialogue with your stakeholders. Of course, you will do this within a passionate, fun Area and numerous stakeholders within and outside Document & Content Services NL.

    • How to succeed

  • You have a completed HBO or WO education or a comparable level.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience with Mendix development and maintenance
  • You are a keen model developer, tester that guides & drives change, whilst overseeing the dependencies and chain impact.
  • You have a common understanding and experience of working with data streams and workflow management.
  • You are able to plan your work independently and with your team in an Agile, dynamic setting.
  • You can express yourself excellent orally and in writing in English and you can present ideas well both verbally and in PowerPoint.
    • You are proactive & capable of challenging business demands and have an collaborative mindset that knows stakeholder management.
  • You actively ask for feedback, and you also give constructive feedback yourself.
  • You don't shy away of investigating customer journeys and are eager to explore your product's impact within a journey. For the role of Mendix Developer at Communication as a Service additionally:
