Title: Data Security and Compliance Solutions Consultant

Introduction:

In this client-facing role, you'll be immersed in exciting, complex, and cutting-edge projects. Collaborating with the Avanade Team, you'll actively contribute to transforming clients' Data Security and Compliance postures through the implementation of advanced technologies, particularly focusing on Microsoft 365 Defender and Purview capabilities.

As a member of Avanade's security practice, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, from medium to large global enterprises. Your role extends beyond client engagements, as you'll have the opportunity to shape global Avanade security offerings and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

What you'll do:

· Advise and consult clients on Data Protection and Compliance strategies.

· Collaborate effectively within global teams and independently.

· Design and implement Microsoft Defender and Purview solutions to meet compliance needs.

· Understand and address business, privacy, security, and compliance challenges in Migration or Transformation projects.

· Lead Data Protection and Compliance projects to exceed client expectations.

· Proactively identify and mitigate risks through creative problem-solving.

Skills and experiences:

· Consulting and client advisory experience.

· Strong team collaboration and individual initiative.

· Technical proficiency in Microsoft Cloud Security technologies.

· Understanding of Security, Incident, and Event Management solutions.

· Familiarity with Cloud Migration challenges and industry trends.

· Creative problem-solving and risk management skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

About you:

· 2-3 years of foundational experience in the Security technology industry.

· Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security offerings.

· Experience with security and cloud standards such as ISO27017, NIST, CIS, Azure Benchmark, etc.

· Technical expertise in Microsoft Security and Compliance tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for Cloud.

· Familiarity with Azure ecosystem and security baseline configurations.

· Proficiency in consulting practices including stakeholder engagement and documentation.
