What do you do on a daily basis?
The Customer Service Officer (Customs) is primarily tasked with facilitating smooth interactions between customs authorities and individuals/businesses.

Their main responsibility is to ensure compliance with customs regulations, provide assistance and guidance to customers regarding import/export/transshipment procedures, and address inquiries or issues related to customs matters.

Ensure adherence to customs regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements;
Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding customsrelated inquiries
Prepare and review customs documentation for accuracy and completeness;
Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and ensuring compliance with legal requirements;
Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize customs clearance processes;
Implement efficient workflows to expedite customs procedures while maintaining accuracy;
Collaborate with logistics, operations, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customs clearance;
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on customsrelated matters;
Collaborate with customs authorities to address and resolve clearancerelated issues;
Proactively communicate with clients to address queries and provide updates on customs status;
Maintain organized and uptodate records of customsrelated documentation.

Requirements:
Who are you?

Proficiency in Dutch and English is required;
Possesses certifications or training in customs regulations and compliance;
Has an indepth understanding of customs regulations and procedures, particularly within relevant geographic contexts;
Brings experience in managing customs clearance processes for import and export shipments;
Exhibits strong analytical capabilities to interpret and implement complex customs regulations effectively;
Displays effective communication skills to interact with customers, customs authorities, and internal teams;
Works collaboratively and demonstrates strong teamwork skills to effectively engage with crossfunctional teams.

Working conditions:
What does the company offer?

A salary between 2.500 and 3.600 euros per month, based on experience;
Pension plan with contributions entirely covered by the company;
