Job Title: Engineering TAC (ETAC) Team Lead

Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to drive the Engineering TAC team, providing technical leadership and management of engineers supporting NGFW on-prem and cloud, and Integrated Applications. The successful candidate will lead daily operations, ensure resources and processes for successful performance, and provide deeper technical expertise to TAC support teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and management of a team of engineers.
• Lead daily operations of the team in line with company goals and objectives.
• Ensure engineers have resources and processes for successful and sustained performance.
• Enable TAC support teams with deeper technical expertise and guidance.
• Work directly with Engineering on cutting-edge new product development.
• Develop and deliver expert-level training materials.
• Develop advanced troubleshooting tools and scripts.
• Own critical and executive-level issues for LAN/WAN and NGFWs.
• Lead problem identification and resolution across support and product life cycles.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience including 5 years managing highly technical engineers.
• Technical Support or Development experience with enterprise customers.
• Operational Management ensuring engineers have necessary resources and processes.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.
• Expertise with Cloud services and Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with C, Python, or scripting languages.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks products is highly desired.
