    A Business Development Manager - VMware is responsible for selling VMware's portfolio to current and new clients. The role necessitates a deep comprehension of the company's offerings and the capability to pinpoint and finalize opportunities. You collaborate closely with the local and EMEA VMware Sales team and our partners. The ideal candidate must be driven, with a sales-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in IT services.

    • Work with Arrow Account Managers and Account Directors to identify promising reseller partners for enhancing sales of vendor products.
    • Provide partners with necessary tools to maximize their sales potential.
    • Implement effective business strategies with reseller partners, particularly focusing on distribution managed and mid-market partners.
    • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships within the vendor and channel customer base.
    • Discover new partners, engage with them appropriately, and drive additional sales.
    • Forecast opportunities accurately, catering to both short and long-term deals.
    • Emphasize maximizing margin opportunities by concentrating on partners and targets with higher margin potential.
    • Leverage vendor programs to meet back-end rebate targets and designated focus areas.
    • Identify sales possibilities to surpass targets and support partners with regular sales and technical training.
    • Build a reputable profile within the partner base to secure involvement in major projects.
    • Focused attention on distribution managed partners in close collaboration with vendors for their account development.

    Requirements

    • Experience in software solutions sales within IT channel sales or end-user sales.
    • Hold a full driving license and be willing to travel.
    • Proficiency in English and Dutch, with advanced language skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Capability to forge and enhance strategic business relationships.
    • Self-motivated and proactive with a structured approach to work.
    • Effective problem-solving skills and commitment to task completion.
    • Understanding of product benefits, solution sales concepts, and collaboration with alliance vendors.
    • Capacity to identify key decision-makers and navigate sales dynamics of complex projects.
