What you'll be doing day to day
As IKEA Food Manager, you are the lynchpin of the various IKEA Food processes.

You will lead a team of 3 team managers to ensure, together with the total employee group, a great shopping experience for our guests every day.

Ultimately, you will bear ultimate responsibility for the total IKEA Food department. A dynamic and challenging assignment that demands a lot from your experience, insight, and leadership qualities. Everything revolves around quality, hygiene, sustainability, team effort, efficiency, and process optimization.

In addition, as IKEA Food Manager you will ensure a safe and pleasant working and shopping experience for our employees and guests.

You are part of the Store Management team, directly supervising 3 team managers and employees:
in total about 65 people. You are accountable to the Market Manager and are involved in managing the day-to-day operations as well as the mid
- and long-term results.

You meet the following requirements:

You have an HBO working and thinking level.
You are experienced in leading a big team.
You can keep the overview in a dynamic and hectic work environment.
You can enthusiastically create support within the store's Management Team. You know how to anchor these ideas and new ways of working in the organization.
You are resultsoriented, know how and when to delegate, but also like to roll up your sleeves yourself.
In this role, you'll work also weekends and evenings.

Start in this role and receive, based on 38 hours per week:

A gross monthly salary between € 4,356 and € 6,599, depending on your knowledge and experience. The latter amount is the maximum of the scale to which you can grow in this role.

A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. These are paid out in December and May by default, but you can also choose to receive them monthly.

A collective bonus scheme.

Travel costs for public transport are 100% reimbursed.

Do you live within a radius of 5 to 20 km from the IKEA branch? Then you can also opt for a lease bicycle.

Are you traveling by car? Then you will receive a compensation for travel costs up to a maximum of 243 euros per month.
