    We're looking for a Senior Transformation Manager to join us in Schiphol-Rijk.

    Job purpose

    The Senior Transformation Manager will play an instrumental role in leading the delivery of strategic programmes, projects and transformation activity in support of the People Agenda, with a core focus on transformation, commercial outcomes and business change.

    What will you be doing?

    Programme and Project Delivery

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of projects, programmes and transformation activities in support of the People Agenda and Roadmap, including leading multiple programmes or projects in parallel, maintaining a focus on delivering business outcomes and customer satisfaction whilst optimizing time/cost/quality
  • Leading the selection of delivery methodology for each programme or project to ensure the approach is fit-for-purpose. This is likely to focus on agile methodologies wherever possible, but will also include waterfall or cross-functional working groups where relevant
  • Aligning project requirements with the resourcing methodology to optimize allocation of people and skills – this may include resources from the People function, other LG functional teams, the LG global family and external partners
  • Leading and motivating the programme/project teams: build high performing teams/squads where everyone is clear on their role and the team is set up for success.
  • Ensuring that all project activity follows Liberty Global's required governance and reporting frameworks
  • Demonstrating highly effective stakeholder management and active sponsorship for all projects
  • Running effective processes to continually review project progress with a strong focus on business benefits
  • Leading post-completion reviews to ensure benefits and customer satisfaction was achieved, and to drive continuous improvement for future programmes
  • Strategic Planning

  • Supporting the Director of Strategy and the VP Strategy & Transformation in the management of the People Roadmap and budget
  • Supporting the prioritization of key activities and projects by providing estimates and likely impacts on resourcing, budgets and existing programme activity
  • Supporting the management of unplanned change by assessing options and impacts
  • Resourcing

  • Utilizing current and previous programme delivery experience to assist with continuous improvement of the resourcing matrix and the accuracy of forecasting resources
  • Demand Management

  • Responding to requests for new programme/transformation activity by providing estimates and inputs to enable rapid and effective planning/prioritisation/resourcing decisions
  • Governance and Reporting

  • Putting in place high quality reporting and dashboards for programme/project delivery to ensure that all stakeholders receive timely, accurate and insightful analysis
  • Enabling effective governance and decision-making throughout the programme and project delivery lifecycle
  • We tend to look for people who are/have:

  • Certification from a recognised professional body e.g. APM, PMI, IPMA, desirable
  • Extensive experience in Change Leadership within industry sectors which are international, fast-moving, customer facing and change-led, ideally with a strong technology element
  • A track record of successfully leading cross-functional commercial/business programmes and transformation initiatives within multiple organisations, including leadership of cultural and organisational change
  • Excellent programme management skills, including managing multiple programmes or portfolios of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-location projects. This experience should include HR and business programmes/portfolios, and will ideally also include technology projects
  • Extensive experience of different programme and project delivery methodologies. This will definitely include significant agile delivery experience as well as traditional waterfall methods. Some level of agile certification (or demonstrable professional development in agile methodologies) is desirable
  • Significant experience working in a matrix environment, across multiple disciplines and geographies
  • Experience of managing external vendors through the project delivery lifecycle is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of organisation design and HR practices & processes
  • Highly structured but with the flexibility to respond rapidly to changing requirements
  • Creative problem solver, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and influence others at multiple levels of the organisation
