    Global Category Manager – Commercial Equipment

    We have an exciting opening within the Commercial Procurement team.

    The Global Category Manager Commercial Equipment is a critical role for the organisation, helping the company on both its commercial and sustainability agenda.

    On the commercial side of things, the main objective will be to help our Operating companies maximise the effectiveness their investments in Fridges and Draught beer innovations, from ensuring optimal placement to an efficient lifecycle management.

    With regards to sustainability, it will be about continuing to drive the reduction of the carbon footprint associated with the use of those equipments, enabling the deployment of energy efficient coolers and other related innovations.

    Your Responsibilities

    Commercial Excellence

    Drive an end-to-end commercial approach to commercial equipment (and associated services) enabling our operating companies ('OpCos') to optimise the total cost of their equipment whilst enabling their commercial objectives (including better placement, servicing costs reduction, and through initiative such as asset tracking, refurbishment, or leasing model implementation)

    Develop and implement the fridge strategy and source to contract process, safeguarding a competitive and sustainable supplier landscape meeting business needs.

    Facilitating our harmonisation efforts ensuring a coherent landscape of equipment in the field.

    Supplier relationship management (SRM)


    Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers ensuring HEINEKEN is a customer of choice, continuously guaranteeing security of supply and business-relevant innovations.

    Implement where relevant performance-based remuneration


    Sustainability:
    Be a key contributor to the sustainability agenda, leading the implementation of energy efficiency improvements with suppliers in line with the Net Zero roadmap for 2030 and 2040

    What:

    Education:
    University level

    Work experience: 10 years+


    Required work experience in field of expertise: Experience in Commerce/Procurement preferred, ideally having worked in in a complex international (FMCG) environment.

    Experience in dealing with CAPEX is a plus

    Functional skills:
    Strategic Sourcing, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation Skills, Analytical & strategic insight skills, Trade Marketing and sustainability principles understanding, Category & Supplier Management

    Languages:
    Fluent English language required. Additional language is a plus
