    For our HQ in the center of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we are looking for a:

    HR Business Partner (commercial)

    As an HR Business Partner you are the sparring partner for our commercial teams, you think along with them on HR & business issues and you proactively propose solutions. You have a 'can-do' mentality and enjoy working on many different topics. At the same time, you can think strategically and together with management decide on important topics. You take care of operational HR topics such as recruitment, onboarding, employment conditions, absenteeism and much more. You also ensure that the HR policy is applied consistently throughout the organization.

    As part of the HR team, you add value by further developing HR policy together with your HR colleagues. Important topics for us are, amongst others, Talent Development, Employer Branding and Employee Engagement.

    In this role you report to the Global HR Director. The HR team consists of 5 members at the head office in Amsterdam and 4 international HR colleagues.

    Your responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the business across all HR areas, enabling us to grow together;
  • Recruitment from A to Z: collaborating with management to create job vacancies, sourcing, recruitment, scheduling and conducting interviews, making offers;
  • Advising, coaching and supporting managers in creating and implementing development plans and improvement processes for employees;
  • Monitoring absenteeism policies, maintaining absenteeism records, and collaborating with the occupational health service and line managers to take actions in compliance with the local law, including conducting absenteeism interviews;
  • Providing expert advice and coaching to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and legislation to promote a fair and equitable work environment;
  • Guiding, executing, documenting, and monitoring HR processes;
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, processes, and systems within the specific HR focus area.
  • What we ask?

  • A completed HBO or WO study (Bachelor level, ideally Human Resource Management or a similar study);
  • 2 to 4 years of demonstrable experience in a similar position;
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive sparring partner, capable of taking an independent stance;
  • Ability to persuade, facilitate, and handle matters confidentially;
  • Pragmatic approach and ability to implement solutions efficiently and effectively;
  • You are stress resistant and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Dutch and English) - ability to present, train, influence and negotiate.
