    Come on in to an iconic former bank building where offices and ATMs have made way for a brand-new hotel in the city centre of The Hague. First impression? 204 elegantly furnished rooms, 7 floors and a warm welcome from your future team. At vocoTM, we give people a different choice. Hotels to count on but different enough to be fun.     You will be staying at Botanica together with the kitchen crew. The restaurant is a destination in itself, serving standout dishes that include grilled vegetables and proteins cooked in a Josper charcoal oven. With a focus on local ingredients, you can expect honey from the bee hotel, fresh coffee roast delivered by bike, or eggs from the best hen farm in The Hague. Our vegetable-inspired menu considers seasonality and emphasizes a sustainable supply chain from product to plate. Botanica is where you will be the breakfast chef that runs the show by helping guests and inventing dishes that fit the multi-cultural appetite of our guests.

    Are you ready for check-in?

    • Get creative and brainstorm with your team to create the best breakfast menu.
    • Take charge and run the kitchen individually during breakfast.
    • Set up the buffet together with the rest of the F&B team.
    • Prepare the dishes according to the supplied recipe card.
    • Communicate with guests from the iconic open kitchen.
    • Communicate with colleagues of different departments to adjust meals to guest preferences.
    • Help washing up the dishes if needed.
    • Make sure you use all machinery in the kitchen operation safely. Maintaining all kitchen equipment clean and functional.
    • Train trainees and apprentices.
    • Prepare a delicious lunch for your co-hosts.
    • Work according to food safety procedures in compliance with HACCP standards
    • Ensure that your work area in the kitchen is equipped with the necessary tools, supplies, and equipment to meet the business demand. Assist colleagues to fix their area if needed.
    • Live the vocoTM brand with pride, passion & energy. Create & inspire others to deliver memorable guest experiences.
    • Promote teamwork and lifestyle service through daily communication and coordination with other teams.
    • Ad-hoc duties– unexpected moments where the team must come together to get the task done.
