Join Powerhouse Company as our PR and Communications Manager and take a leading role in shaping our global outreach and establishing our legacy in the architecture industry.

In this pivotal position, you will spearhead innovative publicity campaigns and guide our communications team toward international acclaim.


Role

Based in the climate-resilient Floating Office Rotterdam - the largest floating office building in the world with stunning views of the Rotterdam Harbor - you'll have the exciting opportunity to make an impact on our communications efforts in Rotterdam and across international offices, including those in Norway and Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic PR vision with the team, in close collaboration with management, and coordinate with our design teams to ensure alignment with our overarching communication objectives
• Boost brand visibility both nationally and internationally
• Execute daily operations in the PR team as a strong team player
• Produce and distribute compelling press releases, oversee social media content strategies, and maintain robust relations with media outlets
• Grow and deepen our media network to ensure longterm partnerships
• Perform targeted PR research to craft narratives that resonate with our target audience
• Monitor media coverage, adjust strategies based on analytics, and keep our PR tools and databases up to date
• Represent Powerhouse Company at industry events, fairs, and press engagements
• Regularly update and refine the content of our company website to keep it current and engaging

Requirements:

• At least 35 years of experience in PR/marketing. Experience in the architecture industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, Architecture, or a related field
• Established network within the architecture or design industry
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English; proficiency in German is a plus
• A proactive, serviceminded approach and strong team collaboration skills
• Confidence working in a complex, dynamic, and international environment
• Available to work between 32 and 40 hours per week, with immediate start
• Authorization to work in the Netherlands
