    We are looking for someone to further strengthen and complement our Business Intermediary team within Digital & Remote Sales.

    Digital & Remote Sales is an ambitious department within ING Business Banking responsible for building excellent customer journeys for the business segment and making sure ING is a leading player in the Dutch market. Hereby, we focus on Self-employed, Micro companies and SME (small and medium enterprises) business customers.To achieve the goal of growing our lending book, we strive for relevant and personalized interactions with our customers based on the right customer insights.

    A business intermediary is an independent third-party debt advisor, a financial accountant or a credit specialist, who supports companies and business owners to get the best finance solution to manage and grow their business. We are looking for a Customer Journey Expert who can help us further strengthen the Business Intermediary team. This team is responsible for the central coordination and further development of the Business Intermediary proposition, the central marketing activities and managing overall sales performance.

    The new colleague we are looking for brings a new knowledge and skillset to the team. We are looking for someone whohas experience with business lending in theSEM & SMEsegment or has experience with intermediaries in the consumer segment.Having worked with/asa business intermediary is a plus.

    This is what you will do

    Together with your team, you are responsible for the mission:

    Helping entrepreneurs and intermediaries to grow and manage their business.

    You will join a team that has the ambition to bring the current intermediary proposition, that wassuccessfully launched last year, to the next maturity phase in a country wide roll out. The aim is to substantially grow lending production through this intermediary channel.

    This is what you will do:

  • Help as many business clients through intermediaries as possible.Making customers and intermediaries happy is at the core of what we do.
  • You will work with the team and stakeholders to ensure that, as ING, we improve our proposition for business clients and business intermediaries.The primary sales channels are digital (MijnIntermediairZakelijk online portal), the Remote Advice Sales Team and Intermediary Advisors and regional Business Advisors.
  • Together with the team you support the Intermediary Advisors, in order for them to excel at building out the relationship with business intermediaries and ease the financing process.
  • You will assist in the development of relevant content, which will be published through various media channels. This to be-and remain- topofmind for our business intermediaries.
  • Based on your experience, you will work with the team to further improve the digital and intermediary journeys. In doing so, you will be responsible for journey innovation, idea generationand implementation. To achieve this, proper stakeholder and project management will be key.
  • You collect customer insights from business clients and business intermediaries in a structured way and translate these into improvements.
  • You are a subject matter expert and act as keypartner for IT specialists, digital marketeers, conversion specialists and remote & business advisors, each of whom has their own field of expertise.
  • A completed college or university degree, preferably in a relevant field.
  • You have at least 3-7 years of relevant work experience.

  • You can translate customer needs into practical solutions that help business customers and intermediaries, and you understand better than anyone which digital and IT solutions can add value.
  • You are a good stakeholder manager, able to move stakeholders at regional and head office level. You can implement the identified improvements together with your stakeholders.
  • You can translate data and ideas into coherent, convincing presentations to persuade stakeholders.
  • You are willing to further develop yourself by setting up marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch. Complete mastery of the Dutch language is a strict requirement.
