    Being a Sous Chef, you are in charge of the complete kitchen operation when the Chef is absent. You make sure that your team functions as efficiently as possible so they are able to deliver only the very best experience to guests. Your job is to run the kitchen and create a healthy, safe work environment for your entire team. Additionally, you work closely together with the Chef and the F&B Manager on new menu items, so you can continue surprising your guests.

    As the Sous Chef, you make sure that the team can work as efficiently as possible to deliver the best experience to your guests.

    The Sous Chef is one of the key members of the kitchen team. You are the right hand man of the Chef and you work closely with him to ensure that the hotel's F&B vision is translated to what leaves the kitchen on plates. As an experienced Sous Chef, you handle an stream of orders with no issues, and deliver the best dishes to your guests in a timely manner. In addition to running the daily operation in the kitchen, you are responsible for ordering all ingredients while making sure that all the HACCP norms are observed.

    Further, you are responsible for:

    • Running the daily operation in the kitchen;
    • Ordering from and negotiating with suppliers;
    • Maintaining kitchen efficiency and costs in coordination with the Chef;
    • Ensuring the quality of dishes served to the guests;
    • Ensuring that ARBO and HACCP norms are followed.
