    • Schiphol's financial function is developing into a Trusted Advisor and Digital Finance organization. Our finance operating model is built around three core areas of responsibility; Be a Navigator, Create Insights and Ensure Compliance.
    • In this role, you actively contribute to the Finance Business Partnering activities developments across SSE/AO&AP (security, safety and airport operations) organizational units and provide added value to the development of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function.

    As a Business Insights Controller you are responsible for creating insights within Finance.

    With your hands on mentality and being action oriented, you will:

    Provide one version of the truth of data to deliver reliable performance management informationCombine structured and unstructured financial and non-financial data to provide valuable analyzes and fact-based (future) insightsContribute to modeling scenarios based on key business and performance driversAdvise on risks and opportunities, co-create possible solutions based on the various data sources as a result of analysesBe responsible for the planning and performance management cycle within the SSE and AO&APWe are looking for a finance professional who can make an important contribution to professionalizing the financial planning and analysis processes within Schiphol, by incorporating and recognizing the value of modern FP&A and digital initiatives in steering our business financial planning and performance cycle.

    In addition to the skills of business controller we are looking for someone who has

    At least 5 years of relevant work experience combined with academic thinking and working level (professional certifications such as RC/CIMA/CMA is a plus)Knowledge of and affinity with data management systems, analytics and dashboardingHands on and action oriented, focused on delivering resultsStrong analytical skills and challenger mindsetEffective building of relationships, leveraging different communication and influencing techniquesValid work permit for the NetherlandsBusiness fluent English and DutchYou get this

    A competitive salary ranging from € 5.172, on 36 hours (scale 13) depending on your knowledge and experience.

    About the Team


    The FP&A team is responsible for making analyses, translating business specific data and information to be used for broader organizational purposes and providing (actionable) insights.

    We are the point of contact for insights questions where financial and non-financial information come together for all organizational units (Aviation and non-Aviation).
