    Our partner is an ambitious buy & build platform in the cybersecurity space (EUR1-5M ARR) for SMBs. They are backed by solid capital and led by a highly successful serial entrepreneur with multiple significant exits under his belt.

    We are looking for an entrepreneurial CFO who is more than a finance leader. You're a co-founder.

    You will be the intellectual sparring partner and operational anchor to a visionary CEO. You will take big, bold ideas, stress-test them, and 'land' them into operational reality.

    The CEO provides the vision, the energy, and the deal-flow. You provide the structure, the commercial validation, and the execution. You must be willing to push back, debate, and pivot quickly, but once a decision is made, you ensure it gets done with precision.

    Your Mission

    Translate vision to execution:

    • The CEO operates at high speed with visionary thinking. Your job is to capture that thinking, validate the numbers, and deploy it across the organization.
    • You will drive the buy-and-build engine. From modeling and due diligence to the nitty-gritty of bank financing and post-merger integration.
    • You are the face of stability for banks, investors, and shareholders. You ensure the company remains bankable and investable while we scale rapidly.
    • Be hands-on. We need someone who can negotiate a term sheet in the morning and fix a cash-flow forecast error in the afternoon.
    • Lead both the M&A deal-flow and internal financial operations for existing partners, while guiding a small finance team to transition the business away from legacy systems.
    • You are socially adept and high-energy. We work hard and push boundaries, but we are a fun, trustworthy team that enjoys the ride.

    The Profile

    • 10 years of experience with a background in tech startup/scale-ups and with experience in M&A within smaller SMB organizations.
    • You are smart enough to keep up with a serial entrepreneur and flexible enough to change course when the market demands it.
    • You don't just count costs; you understand value creation. You can spot the commercial flaws in a deal before anyone else.
    • You have a high EQ. You can read a room, manage shareholder anxieties, and act as a calm sounding board for the CEO.
    • You understand the Cybersecurity/SaaS business model and the digital tools required to run a lean finance function.
