Environmental / EHS Specialist (Temporary – 6 Months)
Within the Corporate EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) organization, we are responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting environmental data for the annual corporate reporting cycle.
Due to temporary capacity constraints within the team, we are looking for an experienced Environmental / EHS Specialist to support us on a temporary project basis for 6 months (32 hours per week).
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert and serve as a key link between Corporate EHS and other corporate functions such as ESG, Risk, Business Continuity and Quality.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Environmental / EHS Specialist, you are responsible for analysing, evaluating and advising on environmental data and improvement projects, in line with global EHS processes and procedures.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Organising and coordinating external ISO 14001 audits
Performing in-depth analysis of environmental data (waste and emissions)
Supporting ESG data improvement projects with data-driven insights
Strengthening collaboration between EHS and other corporate functions such as ESG, Risk, Quality and Business Continuity
Advising on data quality, reporting structures and process improvements
Education and Experience
To be successful in this role, you bring:
A higher education degree in an environmental or sustainability-related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience within EHS / environmental management
Strong analytical and data analysis skills
Proven stakeholder management experience in a corporate environment
Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and/or Spotfire is a strong advantage
