citizenM is looking for an energetic, genuine and passionate citizen willing to join our Operations team in the Netherlands for an exciting internship opportunity.

It is possible to have a combination of topics as well.

main tasks & responsibilities:

- assist in managing the execution of operations within the rooms operations department
- support the room operations team by ensuring seamless integration and enhanced operational efficiency with the launch and process implementations of operational projects
- strive to continually improve the guest and employee experience by identifying areas for improvement based on data analysis within the front desk and housekeeping operation, and implementing solutions to enhance quality
- review, improve and/ or establish operating standards and procedures
- monitor compliance with standards and procedures by performing operational audits on site if/ when required
- review guest feedback and from there, initiating, coordinating and supporting initiatives to boost guest satisfaction and guest experience
- learn everything there is to know about running global rooms operations while staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to optimize daily operations effectively
- provide administrative support including analysis of relevant qualitative and quantitative data to measure the success of ongoing and completed projects related to rooms operations, ensuring that objectives are met and results are in line with organizational goals
- prepare monthly and quarterly reports to monitor and evaluate rooms operations performance across our hotels


skills & qualifications:

- available for six or more months, preferred starting date August 202- a student enrolled at a university during the entire duration of the internship
- smart thinker with contemporary style
- empathy and real caring for people
- community and collaborate thinker
- gifted at giving and receiving feedback
- fluent in English, spoken and written. Additional language skills are well accepted
- ambitious, motivated and eager to learn... and most importantly, you are having fun while doing it
