    Data is one of the foundations of ING's strategy to become one digital bank and Data Operations is the place to operationalize and execute our data strategy. Data Operations aims to optimize the data operations within ING, raising the data management capabilities to the next level by further enhancing and implementing our data management strategy that stipulates how we want to govern data operations throughout the bank.

    The Data Operations organization will fulfil ING's strong belief that data is key in ING's ambition to become a data driven digital bank, where we need more granular data of high quality to manage the bank wide (customer-)processes, modelling and decision making. As a member of Data Operations organization, you will contribute greatly to operationalize ING's data strategy and fulfill our data promises.

    Job description

    With an increased appetite for consuming data and regulatory pressure to demonstrate data quality coverage we need to maintain high standards in Data Quality. Global Data Quality function is responsible for operationalizing ING Data Quality strategy, translating into services and executing globally in order to ensure we maintain those high standards for ING data across the globe.As part of the Project Management Office in the Global Data Quality team, you will be part of Data Operations and will be key in delivering our promise of "ensuring data quality" for ING across the globe.

    Key Responsibilities

    The PMO Officer is responsible for day-to-day project office activities within Data Quality domain. You are responsible to manage the administrative records of an extensive project portfolio. You will broaden your knowledge about the ING change processes and programmes and play a key role in optimising administrative processes and systems. You have thorough, practical knowledge of the strategic direction of a project or programme and can apply this knowledge in order to optimise the project.

    Your key responsibilities :

  • Youare responsible for the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the administrative records
  • Help with organizing and managing Program governance (reporting on progress on major milestones, risk & impediments, preparation of meetings, communication within Data Quality global organizationetc).
  • Prepare, participate and help with the admin part for the various Program management team meetings, Program and Sponsor Board.
  • Make minutes of the calls (Program management team meetings, Program Board, Sponsor Board,...) including action points, status updates and follow-up with the action owners.
  • You support data quality product owners to ensure they are on track with the implementation of the revamped data quality approach and all preparatory activities are taken care of well in time
  • You ensure training materials are available, easy to find and communication means are well-established within the domain.
  • You support and guarantee the planning, monitor the progress and inform involved parties on the progress
  • You analyse and report on deviations, risks and issues and encouraging and supporting a solution for them
  • You support the programme and/or project manager in recurring day to day activities and ad-hoc requests
  • You identify opportunities for improvement and make suggestions for the continuous reuse of improvements
