We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager with entrepreneurial mindset to build Virta business in in the Belgium & Netherlands.

You will drive business development activities within the countries with the aim of securing growth in new markets. You will be supported by sales organizations in Europe and enjoy collaboration with our sales and marketing teams.


As a Business Development Manager you will initiate sales discussions with potential customers and constantly develop our processes & tactics to increase customer engagement in Belgium and Netherlands.

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting & qualifying leads over the phone and via online demonstrations.

This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology sales.

**Key Responsibilities: - Drive and execute demand generation cadences within the region.

  • Qualify leads and identify key decisionmakers within target organizations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of Virta B2B SaaS solution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted sales strategies.
  • Manage and update customer data to ensure accurate recordkeeping and pipeline management.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and performance metrics. Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solution in the market.
**Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or technology sales.
  • Strong prospecting and coldcalling skills, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade prospects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and sales automation tools is a plus.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and drive to exceed goals.
  • Experience in the field of emobility is considered as an advantage. Fluency in English, Dutch and French.
