- >3 years of proven work experience as a (PLC) Software Engineer within the industrial automation;
- Experience within industrial automation / Software Engineering and extensive knowledge of various systems and programming languages (C#, CODESYS, Siemens TIA portal);
- Willing to travel and work abroad if necessary.

As a Software Engineer, in our Business Unit Material Handling, you are responsible for the development of software programs for customer specific machines. Think of software that controls robots and vison systems. As a Software Engineer you work closely together with colleagues from different disciplines. At AWL you are part of a enthusiastic mechatronic team. You are able to guide other departments in your procedure and to function as an advisor. Besides developing the code, you also possess a strong coordinating and organizational role.

After a cup of coffee and discussing the weekend with your colleagues, you get back to work Because you have the freedom to execute your work, you will start with your own planning, you assess the progress and determine the priorities for this week.10:00You dive back into project X, in which you are already in the final phase of the realization. Time to write the last part of the code and get it reviewed by your colleagues.13:00You have a project startup with the team. You already examined the specifications. You make any uncertainties immediately discussible. You simulate if all requirements are complied with the project specifications and proceed with the translation to the control design.15:00Your colleagues are stuck in a project and ask for your expertise.
