De uitdaging - What future are you building towards?
Als werkstudent Tax Transparency heb je een uitdagende functie binnen onze fiscale praktijk. In het team Financial Services zijn we georiënteerd op bedrijven binnen de financiële sector. De klanten binnen het team Financial Services zijn voornamelijk banken, verzekeraars, beleggingsinstellingen, (opkomende) betaaldienstverleners, asset managers, FinTechs en pensioenfondsen. Binnen het Tax Transparency team ben je bezig met klanten adviseren bij vraagstukken inzake fiscale transparantiewetgeving. Tevens assisteer je bij overleg met de Belastingdienst of andere relevante organisaties en personen.
Ons team - Do great minds always think alike?
Het Tax Transparency (CTORS) team houdt zich bezig met fiscale transparantiewetgeving en richt zich als enige binnen EY Nederland op een mix van complexe fiscale techniek, consulting & business transformation, en technologie. Hoewel de focus binnen dit team voornamelijk ligt op financiële instellingen, digitale platforms, fintechs en de crypto industrie, bedient het team ook het hele interne EY netwerk. CTORS staat voor Customer Tax and Operational Reporting Services. Het is een sub-serviceline binnen de serviceline Tax, waarbij het team adviseert op hoe klanten van EY compliant kunnen zijn met fiscale transparantiewetgeving en daardoor informatie moeten rapporteren over hun klanten aan (veelal) de Nederlandse belastingdienst

Sollicitatieprocedure - How can you prepare for a long life together?
Het sollicitatieproces bestaat uit een telefonische screening, een persoonlijkheidstest, en een interview.
Onderdeel van de sollicitatieprocedure is een (online) assessment en een pre employment screening. Door wet- en regelgeving en doordat EY (en in sommige gevallen haar klanten) hoge eisen stelt aan de betrouwbaarheid en de integriteit van haar medewerkers wordt elke nieuwe medewerker gescreend. Afhankelijk van het functieniveau kan de pre employment screening uit de volgende onderdelen bestaan: Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag (VOG) of – indien geen VOG in Nederland kan worden aangevraagd – Criminal Background Check uit het land waar je op dit moment woont of de afgelopen vijf jaren hebt gewoond, integriteitsvragenlijst, verificatie van ID, diploma's en/of werkervaring en het raadplegen van het centraal insolventieregister.
