Quality Assurance Program Manager*:


Forbo Flooring Systems has an open position for an experienced and talented program manager to support the division with Quality Assurance throughout all disciplines of the organization.

The job

The Quality Assurance program manager leads the worldwide implementation of the quality strategy by the initiation, development and execution of the quality assurance roadmap.

You will work closely together with the leaders and quality specialists in the Business Units, Regions and Central functions in Forbo Flooring systems.

You will report directly to the Director Safety & Quality.


Setting the quality standards, based on the customer needs you will further specify the quality requirements for our raw materials and products and, in the end decide on their release for usage.

You will represent FFS externally on quality related matters and build on an international network of specialists in the industry.

This is a job for a motivated, high energy self-starter who is both a strategic thinker and an experienced results driven program manager, constantly seeking opportunities to make a substantial impact on FFS quality programs.


  • Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the Quality Assurance roadmap and its successful implementation;
  • Process owner for the worldwide execution of the FFS Quality Strategy;
  • Maintain frequent customer contact to monitor our ability to deliver the expected quality;
  • Managing Quality in the value chain including subcontractors;
  • Encouraging change and improvements in performance and quality;
  • Identify risks to quality and prioritize actions and processes that mitigate these risks;
  • Review, develop and secure necessary competence in quality management regularly;
  • Develop, plan and implementation of quality management training;
  • Represents FFS at selected third parties such as NGOs, Universities, Research institutes, Industry associations, Suppliers, etc.;
  • Facilitate and guide the interactions between Regions, Business Units and Central Functions to make the organization effective;
  • Initiate, develop and implement projects within the scope of the Quality strategy.

The profile- Master's degree in Quality Management, Process management or similar;

  • Seasoned in Quality management (minimum 5 years' experience) and a deep understanding of quality assurance in worldwide companies;
  • Proven project management skills with a successful track record;
  • As an entrepreneur, you are proactive and able to combine extensive project management and analytical skills with a handson approach to deliver the results;
  • Strong change management skills and ability to adapt both quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities;
  • Experience in working with organizations advocating differing policies and conflict resolution;
  • Outstanding and concise written and verbal communication skills required;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is requisite; Dutch, German and French language skills would be an advantage.

The location
Preferably you will be based in Assendelft, just north of Amsterdam (the Netherlands). You must be ready and willing to travel internationally. Other FFS locations (located in France and in the UK) is also a possibility.
