    iis
    Het Institute for Interlaboratory Studies (iis) organiseert wereldwijd een breed scala aan ringonderzoeken (proficiency tests, round robins, cross checks, collaborative trials) op het gebied van petroleumproducten, (petro)chemicaliën en consumentenproducten.
    Deze onderzoeken spelen een belangrijke rol bij het waarborgen van de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van laboratoria.

    Over de business line
    Het Institute for Interlaboratory Studies (iis) te Spijkenisse is onderdeel van Natural resources SGS en is een onafhankelijk expert op het gebied van de organisatie van ringonderzoeken. Door middel van deze onderzoeken kunnen meetresultaten van verschillende laboratoria worden vergeleken. Tevens spelen ringonderzoeken een rol bij de accreditatie van laboratoria.

    Vacatureomschrijving

    Als Sample Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor de preparatie van vloeibare en vaste monsters zoals diesel, benzine, textiel en plastics. Je krijgt een baan waar je lichamelijk werk afwisselt met bureauwerk, de verdeling hiervan is ongeveer 80/20.

    Naast het preparen van monsters ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volgende operationele en administratieve werkzaamheden:

  • Het verzenden van monsters
  • Het bijhouden van de (monster) administratie (voorraden, etiketten)
  • Het kopiëren van benodigde formulieren/documenten.
  • Het afhandelen van losse bestellingen
  • Alles regelen omtrent de aanschaf van bulkmaterialen

    • Functie-eisen

    Je vindt het leuk om samen te werken met collega's om van elkaar te kunnen leren en samen als team successen te behalen. Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal en je hebt ervaring met communicatie via email in het Engels. Je hebt ervaring met het werken met chemicaliën en/of gevaarlijke stoffen.

    Wij zien graag het volgende terug op jouw CV:

  • (Petro)chemische achtergrond door (lab)opleiding en/of ervaring;

    • Als je al in het bezit bent van een VCA certificaat dan is dat mooi meegenomen
