As (Junior) Commercial Credit Analyst you are responsible for a portfolio of clients and are actively involved in analysing and structuring financing transactions for our Wholesale clients through a balanced risk/return/sustainability approach.

You can make a difference by identifying the key risk factors in a transaction, managing the credit risk approval process and acting as sparring partner for both relationship managers, clients and other product groups within Rabobank.

As Commercial Credit Analyst you will be client facing and have your own client portfolio together with the Corporate Lending Relationship Manager.

You and your job

Together with your colleagues at C&RE, you will create new business and continue to assess the risks of the existing portfolio.

We aim to have a relevant market position in financing Construction and Commercial Real Estate in the Netherlands.

We focus on financing affordable housing, funding the energy transition, and staying in balance on income and risk by focusing on the quality of our portfolio.

Moreover, we help our real estate clients in the Netherlands to transform, grow, invest, and innovate to reach their goals in fast changing markets.

Perform a leading role in (re)structuring (green) loan facilities & deal management processes, a steering role for credit analysis, modelling, monitoring & reporting and having a final responsibility together with the Relationship Manager Corporate Lending for credit reports;
Support and actively seek opportunities in relation to the ambition of Wholesale Europe & Africa strategy of leadership in sustainable transitions and more specifically around the affordable housing and energy transition;
Act as a sparring partner for relationship managers and commercial credit analysts to deliver the best possible service to our clients and to _Grow A Better World Together_.

You and your talent

Relevant Master's degree;
Proficient in English and in
Dutch is a must;:
1+ years of experience with Commercial Credit Analysis in corporate banking, for example within corporate lending, project and structured finance, acquisition finance, trade & commodity finance or financial advisory & solutions;
Experience in the areas of lending, structuring complex financings, credit risk management (analysis and writing), modelling and preferably knowledgeable in the C&RE sector;
If you do not have the relevant work experience, but you have a great affinity with the construction and real estate sector, then be sure to express your interest as well;
