    Vacancy: Quality Engineer– Pioneering Smart Glass Technology

    Are you a passionate Quality Engineer eager to push the boundaries of innovation?

    Join our dynamic startup in Eindhoven, where we are revolutionizing the world of dynamic windows. As we prepare for the commercial launch of eLstar technology, we are looking for a Quality Engineeer to contribute to R&D and help bring our groundbreaking solutions to market.

    Your Role:

    A Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through testing, inspection, and the implementation of quality control systems.

    Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines. Working with internal and external engineering teams to define systems and procedures, from the ground up.

    Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet specifications.

    Problem Solving: Analyze the causes of non-conformance and recommend solutions to improve product quality and reliability.

    Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand product changes and quality requirements, addressing issues in a timely manner.

    Documentation: Maintain quality documentation, including reports on quality metrics, defect densities, corrective actions taken and technical traceability of product manufacturing.

    Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in processes and products.

    Train and coach employees on quality awareness and best practices

    What You Bring

    Experienced Quality Engineering

    Education level Degree: Bachelor in a technical field

    Knowledge of statistical process control and other quality methodologies

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality control standards (e.g., ISO), statistical analysis, and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

    Experience with high-tech production processes and precision measurement equipment

    Experience in internal and external audits

    Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

    Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to testing and documentation to ensure high-quality outcomes.

    Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
