With a diverse background as a special needs facilitator, au pair, and tutor, I bring a comprehensive skill set and a genuine enthusiasm for helping children reach their full potential. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with special needs. I possess the knowledge and expertise to adapt and create personalized strategies that cater to each child's specific requirements. I find immense joy in witnessing their progress and empowering them to overcome obstacles. As an au pair, I have honed my ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes a child's emotional, intellectual, and social growth. I am adept at fostering strong relationships with children, understanding their needs, and providing a supportive presence in their lives. I have a keen eye for observing developmental milestones and am skilled at implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and exploration. Throughout my experiences as a tutor, I have cultivated a love for teaching and inspiring young minds. I believe in fostering a positive learning environment where each child feels valued, encouraged, and motivated to achieve their goals. I am adept at tailoring my teaching methods to suit different learning styles and finding creative approaches to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. In my role as an Academic Facilitator, I was contracted privately by parents to work at Cederwood Remedial School from January to December 2021. Over the course of 11 months, I provided essential academic, social, and emotional support to children aged 11 who were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Throughout the school day, I was physically present in all classes, working collaboratively with and supporting the teachers. I developed and implemented tailored tutor lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum, ensuring that the students' individual needs were met. Furthermore, I maintained open and regular communication with parents, offering constructive feedback on their child's progress.

As an Au Pair, I have gained diverse and enriching experiences both locally and abroad. Since January 2021, I have been providing childcare and household support. In South Africa, I facilitated school drop-offs and pick-ups, utilizing a motor vehicle, while in the Netherlands, I used a bicycle for transportation. My responsibilities included assisting with homework and preparing students for tests, as well as attending their extracurricular activities. Alongside childcare duties, I managed various household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, cleaning, and running errands. Moreover, being an Au Pair allowed me to engage in a valuable language and cultural exchange, broadening my horizons and deepening my understanding of different cultures.

In my role as a Private Tutor since June 2021, I have been dedicated to providing comprehensive support to students through both online and face-to-face tutoring. Over a period of 2 years and 9 months, I have assessed students' individual learning needs, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. I have effectively explained complex theories and concepts, addressing student inquiries with clarity and patience. Additionally, I have assisted students with their homework, assessments, and projects, ensuring their understanding and progress. Furthermore, I have played a pivotal role in exam preparation, equipping students with the necessary knowledge and study skills to excel in their examinations.

Currently completing a bachelor degree in Industrial Psychology with the goal of pursuing a postgraduate degree (and career) in Eduational Psychology thereafter.
