Valentine Fayer

For my previous experiences, I had the opportunity in 2020 to do an internship in an International School for the company Globeducate, where I was able to learn the foundations of my current abilities, such as designing logos, editing pictures, creating social media posts, community management through the CRM software HubSpot, and marketing analytics. 

I also had the opportunity to work as a freelancer for two international schools, Mougins school and ISN, where I was given the chance to create yearbooks for both schools two years in a row. These tasks allowed me to develop my graphic design skills as I created the entire books from front to back, following my design aspirations. I currently work occasionally as a freelancer, where I carry out small missions such as creating logos, marketing ads, and social media posts. 

Furthermore, within my current master’s I was able Ito practice my design skills through several projects and design sprints. One in particular in which I was given the task to create a 3D model of a historical artefact for the Museum Centre Ceramique in Maastricht. The artefact was actually a necklace which I digitised using the software Metashape pro. 

I am a master's student in Media studies and Digital Cultures at Maastricht university. I essentially had the opportunity to practice both practical and theoretical approaches to new media. During the course, I carried out several design sprints where we attempted to create products based on the current needs of potential customers. We were also given the opportunity to create a personal blog, which serves as our personal portfolio. Furthermore, of the most important projects I was able to carry out is the 3D digitisation of a Necklace for the Museum Centre Ceramique in Maastricht.  The model of the necklace was created using the software Metsahpe pro. 

I am on the verge of finishing my master's thesis in July 2023 and I am seeking an Internship starting in August to complete my studies.
