Reza Henry Udwadia

My work to date as a Football Coach & Performance Analyst has been supported and informed by a university background, professional coaching licenses and a diverse set of professional experiences, spanning 9 years and accrued in the Republic of Seychelles, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and most recently Kuwait.

I employ the most modern training principles and coach these through a holistic approach in a session with the ability to isolate and coach the physical, technical, tactical and social corners of player development to inform my coaching methods. My aim is to maximise individual and collective capability within a vibrant and competitive sporting environment.
I work to the best of my ability, and have demonstrated myself to be a forward-thinking versatile player developer. I incorporate Sport Science and Performance Analysis within the context of player development.

I welcome assigned roles of responsibility, initiative and leadership, and flourish when given them, while remaining first and foremost in common with the players I work with a team member. It is of most importance to treat every person with kindness.

Currently I am searching for a new full-time professional challenge and am enthusiastic to relocate internationally in pursuit of this objective.

This opportunity is of interest to me to pursue as I believe I hold the appropriate skill set garnered from previous experiences to manage the tasks and duties involved, as well to assume responsibility of the position and its role. I regard myself to be a social and outgoing person therefore believe I would suit in well with the current staff members at SK Dubai as I understand that for a recruiter it is important that the person hired for the advertised position is able to fit in with the existing work culture. I have experience in the field of representing professional football clubs in the UK such as Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ajax Amsterdam in the Netherlands and most recently Juventus in Kuwait therefore am aware of the responsibility and professionalism that is required to maintain a professional appearance. I have honed my professional skill set through countless hours of practise and  trial & error which has allowed me to add value to moments of critical thinking, problem solving and solution searching. I welcome assigned roles of responsibility coupled with initiative and believe that my best practises come through when trusted to take these roles.

I have been fortunate to receive a University education within a professional learning environment which granted me the opportunity to build a solid foundation for myself onto which I have been able to complement theoretical learning with practical field experience. I completed my Foundation, Bachelor and Master degrees in the UK at the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Middlesex University London. My fields of study were Applied Football Coaching & Performance, Football Science and Sports Performance Analysis. I regard my University education to have been a key part of my current career to date. In addition to University academia I also hold coaching Licenses such as the UEFA B Coaching License and the FA Level 1 Goalkeeping License, to note as the most significant. It is also worth mentioning that I regard the First Aid & Safeguarding Children Licenses to be as important to a coaching license.
