Pernille Alice Jahns

I am a 23 year old girl originally from Norway and have been living the last 4 years in the Netherlands.

I have different experience working in and within customer service, human relations as I knew from an early age I'd like to work with people.

I would describe myself as a curious person that has an interest in learning new information, gaining knowledge from others and own work to develop myself, which has been useful in my carrier so far as which has gained me an so far experienced carrier so far.

My work carrier started when I was 16 years old as I was offered a position at the nursing home I had my first internship at via high school where I worked for the next 3 years, also when I intergrated to the Netherlands I would occasially during holidays work there.

At the age of 19 years old I decided I needed a change and moved to Amsterdam where I was one of the ones that were building up the Scandinavian market for Dell in the Netherlands.

The position I started working within was a technical agent where troubleshooted laptops, system, devices for the whole Scandinavian market (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland) then I later on was promoted to case closer and coach for my internal team.

This opportunity gave me more knowledge within the different cultures, languages, laws and rules in the different Scandinavian culture, how to handle different situations as a coach (there was difficulties with assisting elder colleagues as an example as due to my young age they would not take me serious/respect the orders given) but as my confidence and experience grew, the cooperation became easier too.

I have chosen to not start any further studies after finishing high school as I have not yet landed on one specific study and therefore I have chosen to continue working to gain more experience and a clearer perspective of the study I want to start.

In high school I did my two first years within human relations where we had half of classes in theoretically pensum and half of our classes practical in school or different internships.

The last year was a general study which is mandatory in Norway to gain your diploma.
