I’m an aspiring cybersecurity professional with a strong foundation in digital strategy and a growing skill set in network security, threat detection, and incident response. Over the past year, I’ve immersed myself in the cybersecurity field through hands-on platforms like TryHackMe, job simulations on The Forage, and ISC2 training courses. I'm currently working toward my CompTIA Security+ certification.

What drives me is the opportunity to contribute to something meaningful — protecting digital systems that underpin our society. I thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments and bring a self-motivated, detail-oriented mindset to every challenge. I’m particularly interested in roles that combine technical depth with public impact, such as penetration testing, compliance audits, and interdepartmental collaboration.

I’m fluent in reading and understanding Dutch and fully comfortable working with Dutch-language documentation and communication. While I’m building confidence in spoken Dutch, I’ve successfully collaborated in Dutch-speaking work environments.

I come from a background in digital marketing and strategy, where I developed strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset — all of which have translated into my growing career in cybersecurity. Working with data, understanding user behavior, and optimizing digital systems has given me a solid foundation for tasks like threat analysis.

To pivot into cybersecurity, I’ve actively pursued hands-on learning through platforms like TryHackMe and real-world job simulations on The Forage. In these simulations, I’ve taken on roles such as a Security Analyst, where I investigated phishing attacks, analyzed network logs, drafted incident reports, and implemented basic detection rules. These experiences have helped me build practical skills in threat detection, network defense, and incident response — and confirmed that this is the field I want to grow in professionally.

I’ve completed cybersecurity training course through ISC2 and am currently preparing for the CompTIA Security+ certification. My learning has been hands-on and practical, supported by platforms like TryHackMe. These courses have given me a strong foundation to build my career on.
