In 2022 my interest in sustainability reached a climax when I co-created Sustainable Students Consultancy (SSC). SSC is a nonprofit student consultancy where we transform internal and external data into frameworks and assessments and develop a synthesis and subsequent sustainable strategy recommendation for start-ups, and large, international corporations. SSC has expanded to 25 students from multiple cities in the Netherlands, acquired several partnerships with renowned strategy consultants, and carried out impactful projects for start-ups, pension funds, private equity funds, and a Japanese maritime company. During the development of SSC, one of the primary practices we performed and excelled in for our clients was building, implementing, and analyzing impact and ESG frameworks. During this period, I have developed specific analytical skills required in sustainable business and investments, and I also acquired and supervised challenging sustainability projects across multiple sectors. 

Furthermore, in 2021 I fulfilled the role of a board member with eight fellow students in a student association, which carries final responsibility over a body of 1300 students and 9,000 registered alums, and the management of a student company with an annual turnover of €2,200,000. During this year, the corona-crisis required the board to make crucial decisions for the cultural and financial survival of the student association. One of the key achievements in this financially uncertain year was the budgeting and development of a large construction project of around €500,000. My time on the student association board has taught me critical thinking, teamwork under stressful circumstances, and working independently on a coherent goal.
