Kusiirika Gloria Abooki

I have experience in nursing, caregiving, and regulated operational work across Uganda and the Netherlands. In Uganda, I worked for several years as a nurse and caregiver, providing patient care, ADL support, infection prevention and control, maternal and neonatal care, and accurate clinical documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. After relocating to the Netherlands, I worked within a Zorggroep, supporting elderly and vulnerable clients with daily care, safety monitoring, and structured care routines in a regulated healthcare environment. I also gained warehouse experience, where I strengthened my accuracy, process discipline, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. Across all roles, I have developed strong attention to detail, communication skills, and reliability, supporting my transition into broader health and life‑science opportunities.

I completed my nursing training in Uganda, where I gained strong foundations in patient care, anatomy, physiology, infection prevention and control, and ethical clinical practice. I also completed certified courses in First Aid, Maternal and Neonatal Care, and Infection Control, which strengthened my clinical skills and safety awareness. After relocating to the Netherlands, I continued developing professionally through training in Dutch healthcare (Zorg) practices, ADL support, and digital health systems. I am currently expanding my knowledge in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research processes to support my transition into the life‑science sector.
