Katerina Petropoulou

I am a graduate of the Psychology Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. During my studies I did my internship as a psychologist at the Second Chance School of Kalamata and I wrote my thesis on: The effect of multitasking on working memory.
I provided volunteer work for three years at the Smile of the Child in the field of Child Care in Hospitals. It refers to children who have been removed from their families by a prosecutor's order and until a suitable place of accommodation is found and the necessary medical examinations are carried out, they are in the Athens Children's Hospitals.
I also participated for one year as a trainer in a program for women's empowerment, WOMENTORS, in the framework of the Active Citizens Funds program organized by the Lambrakis Foundation. Recently I was trained in the administration of the WAIS-IV Psychometric Tool.
I have attended various ERASMUS+ seminars and especially in 2019 I participated in the training seminar on Neuroandragogy against exclusion under Erasmus+ KA2, in July 2021 in the Erasmus+ programme in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain Spain with the Tenerife Courses Organization on 'Preventing conflicts, bullying and cyberbullying', in August 2021 at the Erasmus+ programme in the Florence region of Italy on 'Conflict Management, Emotional Intelligence and Bullying Prevention' and in 2023 at the Erasmus+ programme in the Lecce region of Italy on 'Family Learning- Lifting Adults Barriers'
The knowledge I have acquired during my theoretical studies, as well as my personal quest, involvement in the field and my interest and appetite for personal development make me ready to fully commit myself to this field, to further educate myself and expand my knowledge, as well as to provide my help and knowledge to people in need.
