SCIENCE RESEARCH SPECIALIST II (AHEAD PROJECT COORDINATOR) – DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - PHILIPPINE COUNCIL FOR HEALTH RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

>Manage projects implementation under the guidance of the Advancing Health through Evidence-Assisted Decisions (AHEAD) program manager

>Assist the AHEAD program manager in the monitoring of research projects

>Act as main liaison between AHEAD proponents, Department of Health (DOH) Program Managers, and technical reviewer within the DOH units (communicate project status adequately to all participants)

>Assist the AHEAD program manager in drafting and finalizing relevant pre-implementation and implementation documents such as but not limited to terms of reference, concept notes, list of research projects for implementation, endorsement letters, and documents relative for release of tranches payments.

>Provide regular, structured feedback to the AHEAD Program Manager
Liaise with or follow-up with internal Department of Health units as may be necessitated for related administrative concerns of AHEAD proponents i.e., comments on TOR's, proposals, final report, etc.

> Arrange meetings within Department of Health units and is responsible in all the required logistics of these events

> Work closely with Philippine council for health research and development counterparts for all activities

> Participate in and/or support all grant-related activities

> Serve as the official Department of Health minutes taker in all the regular meetings at the Program management and Advisory Committee levels Safekeeping of all research project documents such as but not limited to Terms of references, contracts/Mode of agreements, and correspondences

> Maintain a tracking of all research project documents such as but not limited to Terms of references, contracts/ Mode of agreements, and correspondences

DATA MANAGER – UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES - NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH, INSTITUTE OF CHILD HEALTH AND HUMAN

>Data cleaning of databases pertinent to the study entitled “Long term outcomes of diagnosed tuberculosis cases in the Philippines”

> Perform data / statistical analysis using cleaned data as directed by the research protocol of the “Long term outcomes of diagnosed tuberculosis cases in the Philippines”

> Management of data obtained for projects of Institute of Child Health and Human development ICHHD (TB studies)

>Responsible foe ensuring that data entry is complete and accurate

>Responsible for writing summary of results

>Assist in writing reports

>Attend trainings and meetings as required
