Esmerelda Oosthuizen

I am currently employed as a Company Lawyer servicing many big International clients and  also supervising LLB students (final year students) with their LLB dissertations. I am  an  admitted Attorney/Legal Practitioner of the High Court of South Africa. After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Pretoria, where I had enrolled for, and passed all of my required subjects, I completed the full time Law School at the Law Society School for Legal Practice (LEAD) in 2016. Thereafter I enrolled for a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade Law at the North-West University. 

After completing my Master of Laws (LLM), I soon realized that I have a passion for people. I gained much exposure to the law and the day-to-day practice of an  attorney, during my Articles of Clerkship and time in practice as a Legal Practitioner. I am of the view that my experience has equipped me with the necessary skills and the ability to work with various types of people in different fields. As a well- rounded, hardworking, and easy adaptable individual, I believe I could fit easily into any team. Managing the law faculty at IIE MSA has equipped me with management and problem-solving skills. This has enabled me to demonstrate my ability to manage change and to motivate others to embrace change. 

As a previous manager and current Company Lawyer, I am adaptable to work in any  environment and I enjoy learning new skills and helping others to find their true potential. I have a passion for what I do and a good eye for detail. I currently reside in Haarlem with a valid working permit.
