Dieuwke Oudijk

My name is Dieuwke Oudijk and I am committed to contributing to society through my coordination and management skills. With a wide variety of international study and work experience I have developed a special set of language and coordination skills, my talent primarily lies in keeping the overview, prioritising activities and hands-on problem solving, focusing on results while maintaining a good team spirit.

For my first work experience, I went to Cusco, Peru for an internship in the housing department. This went surprisingly well and within a short-time I became the project manager. After 8 months, I went to Santiago, Chile to work as a market analyst. While the practical work experience was good, the connection with the company was not as strong, so I went back to the company in Peru to work there as head coordinator of operations and marketing. The pandemic complicated the situation and therefore I decided it was a good moment to start a masters degree. I moved back to Europe, worked 4 months in logistics and then started my masters while working part-time as a business consultant. 

I initially studies international business in Zwolle, Netherlands. During this bachelor, I also participated in the unique honours programme, this is an additional programme focused on social innovation. Moreover, I did an International Industrial Business Management semester in Annecy in France. After my bachelor I started working, this was a conscious choice, as I believed my masters would be more valuable with 2/ 3 years work experience. I then started the European Master in Business Studies, this master consists of 4 semesters in 4 different countries including Italy, France, Germany and Spain.
