Danah Moutou

I am a 27-year-old architect-engineer from Greece, currently living and working as an architect in The Hague, the Netherlands. I hold a Master's degree in Building Technology from TU Delft. My passion for circular and sustainable design led me to focus my Master's thesis on circularity and how BIM software, especially Revit, can support circular facade renovation design by creating a BIM component library.

I am particularly interested in the new possibilities that can be applied in the building environment with the use of technology. During my masters I got familiar with different sustainability analysis applications and building physics calculations, however I didn’t go into deep because my focus was more on the circularity, the materiality and the parametric design of the projects. Thus, I would be more than interested in exploring the potentials of these analysis.

Through my working experience, I have gained experience in both interior and building design projects, always striving for a detailed design that makes a difference. I enjoy being part of different projects, from research and brainstorming to 3D modeling and creating technical drawings. 

In addition to my design skills, I am highly proficient in a range of software, including AutoCAD, Archicad, Revit, Rhino, and I have a particular interest in Grasshopper. I am also eager to explore the possibilities of different analysis programs and coding. As a fast learner and outgoing person, I thrive in collaborative, problem-solving environments.

I enjoy being part of different projects, from research and brainstorming to 3D modeling and creating technical drawings. Currently, I work at the Fix Green Building Design Studio in The Hague, specializing in demountable prefabricated and affordable living spaces.

I hold a Master's degree in Architecture from NTUA and a Master's degree in Building Technology from TU Delft.
