Balaji Karunagaran

My name is Balaji Karunagaran, JD Edwards Sales and Distribution Functional consultant. I am currently living in Amstelveen, Netherlands with my family and 2 kids. 

My strengths are, I am a self motivated, hard working and disciplined person.

My hobbies are listening to Music, cooking, gardening and playing outdoor sports.

I have 21+ years of overall experience. I have 6+ years on JDE working on various types of projects Implementation, Enhancement, Rollout and Support projects. Prior to JDE, I was working Software assurance quality lead Test lead with 11 + of software testing years and as an Operations Engineer in the production industry with 3+ years experience.

I have worked on various modules such as Sales Order, Advanced Pricing, Procurement, Inventory, EDI, Warehouse and Transportation.

On saying about Implementation and Enhancement projects, My role primarily includes in collecting requirements from Business users and end users, conducting design workshops, strategizing implementation methodology, performing Fit Gap Analysis, solutioning, configuring client business processes , helping technical people to build, unit and integration testing, documenting test results, conducting conference Room Prototypes, executing cut-over, managing data conversion, strategizing functional/integration/user acceptance testing and post cutover support.

On Saying about Support projects, Receival of incidents,Incidents assigning, incident analysis and discussion, incident issue configuring or correcting the code,moving to and testing dev env, moving to and testing in  testing env, helping business or end user testing, approval for production move,monitoring moved changes for a day or a week based on criticality.

I have lead offshore Functional team, technical team, CNC team and done third party coordination. I have also been responsible for end-user documentation and have formally trained peers, new hires and super users.

I have completed my bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
