Over Ana Alexandrova:

I am an enthusiastic and inquisitive recent graduate with a BSc in Human Resource Studies: People Management and equipped with five months of internship experience as a campus recruiter. I enjoy trying new things, getting out of my comfort zone, and adapting quickly to new responsibilities. I am eager to gain new knowledge, broaden my perspectives, explore unfamiliar situations, as well as meet new people. 

My interest in HR is constantly growing with each new subject that I follow, and so is my curiosity to explore the HR profession beyond the theories I have studied.

Driven by values like a growth mindset, transparent communication, and a collaborative spirit, I prioritize self-discovery and personal growth in my personal life and professional endeavors. As someone interested in psychology, I aim to apply its principles in the workplace in order to better understand employees' motivations, challenges, and needs. I am excited to support employees on their path to learning, growth, and discovering purpose in their roles.

I am eager to dive into the world of HR, bringing my genuine curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to growth. With a solid background in HR studies, I am ready to join a team that values learning, open communication, and teamwork. Campus Recruiter Internship: Boskalis (Sep 2022 - Feb 2023) 

-Papendrecht, Netherlands 

During my internship in the recruitment team, I gained hands-on experience in recruiting interns, creating vacancies, managing and organizing in-house events, giving presentations as well as maintaining stakeholder relations while also conducting research on employee turnover. I developed adaptability, critical thinking, communication, interpersonal relations, and research skills.

 → English Teacher (Jul 2021 - Sep 2021) 

-Rome, Italy

 As an English teacher, my focus went beyond traditional classroom settings. In the summer of 2021, I lived with an Italian family in Rome with the aim of teaching two children English. This experience allowed me to spend my days with them, fostering language skills through real-life interactions. In addition to teaching the language, I maintained open and effective communication with the children to create a supportive learning atmosphere. I also organized a range of activities and games to make the learning process more fun and engaging. During my free time, I had the chance to immerse myself in the vibrant Italian culture and improve my Italian language skills.

Sailing Coach: Sail With Me (Jun 2019/20 - Sep 2019/20)

 -Bulgaria 

During the summers of 2019 and 2020, I worked as a Sailing Coach, where I organized and taught sailing courses for both beginners and competitive sailors. Besides coaching, I also organized fun events on yachts like team-building activities, birthday parties, and family get-togethers. In my role, I interacted with people of all ages and backgrounds, which helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to bridge generational and cultural gaps, connecting with a wide range of individuals. Additionally, I was responsible for planning yacht events, including arranging things like catering and making sure everything ran smoothly. This experience gave me practical skills in event management, customer service, and handling resources effectively.
