Job Summary:


We're on the lookout for a dynamic and accomplished Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our sales initiatives in the realm of
Logistics & Distribution across Europe.

We're seeking an individual with a knack for strategic thinking, a demonstrated history of surpassing sales goals, adept at cultivating high-performance sales teams, and possessing a wealth of knowledge in the Freight Forwarding domain.

The role is a key part of our Sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales for SCS (Freight Forwarding & Logistics) in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business unit (Freight Forwarding Europe) objectives and revenue targets.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a dynamic sales team across Europe to drive individual and collective performance.

Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to ensure consistent achievement of targets. Implement corrective actions when necessary.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential risks.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align strategies and achieve overall company goals.

Budget Management: Responsible for managing and optimizing the sales budget to maximize return on investment.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Indepth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
