Our client Dufry is an international organisation based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

If you are a traveller you may know them from their duty-free and duty-paid departures and arrivals stores on one of the 420 (airport) locations.

They have operations in 66 countries. Geographic diversification is a key element of the company's strategy. Eindhoven is the location where their Financial Shared Services Center is located. This location processes all of the financial data (which is collected from all locations in the world). At Dufry there is an informal working culture and a dynamic workplace with people from all around the world.


Job description
In this role you are responsible for activities such as calculation of rates, journal postings, accruals building and concession fees and assets Some examples of the tasks are:

  • Prepare and support month end closing
  • Prepare and support the balance sheet reconciliation
  • Support the daily General Ledger activities
  • Work closely with Controllers
  • Declaration of the VAT

Job requirements

  • Education on HBO level (Bachelor degree) in Accounting or Finance

Have a valid work permit or EU passport:

hours per week available

  • Team player, structured and result driven
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)

Terms of employment

  • Salary € € 3.500 based on experience and education
  • Permanent position
  • Work from home (50%)
  • Work remote for two weeks per year
