Production Supervisor
To keep safety as the top priority in the Plant and enforcement of all safety rules. The immediate correction of observed unsafe work habits and practices. The administration of first aid of (minor) injuries and incidents. Compliance with company safety policies

A Production supervisor oversees the production processes to ensure they stay within budget and enhance efficiencies. They're responsible for consistently finding ways to improve an organization's production processes and structures. Production Managers will consistently review employees and their equipment items to determine where to make enhancements.

The Production Supervisor and his reports will work jointly as a team.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for seeking product quality and production improvements as well as the efficient utilization of materials and supplies.

Ensure that the approved manufacturing procedures are followed.

The Production Supervisor is jointly responsible, along with shop floor personnel, for the on-time production of 100% first quality products.

Works with the leads and production team to develop and track against a production plan. Provides regular status reports and capacity plan updates. Anticipates bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be resolved.

Responsible for maintenance of a well-trained, motivated, disciplined work force including job assignments, recommending individuals for promotion, and overall maximum utilization of personnel.

Responsible for ensuring the proper orientation and training of all newly hired employees

Helps to implement ISO Quality management policies and procedures

Required skills and qualifications
Six or more years of experience in a production role preferred Chemical business

Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your usual hours will be from 8am to 5pm.

However you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets.
