You and your job

The Tech Domain 'Customer Journey's, Insurance & Pensions' (CJI&P) within Retail NL Tech includes 2 main responsibilities: (1) driving progress in the development and innovation of current and future customer journeys.(2) optimizing the delivery of analytical capabilities for the segments and products to enhance decision-making and strategic planning for continuous improvement of cross-tribe journeys.

You'll be working within the leadership team of the Area Journey Analytics and the Area Life Event Journeys_. _These Areas are part of the Tribe Customer Journeys, Insurances & Pensions (starting per July 1st).

These Areas are focused on delivering best-in-class, reliable, high available, secure, real-time and cost-effective services supporting our retail customers and our operations in their daily journeys and activities.

Tech solutions for coming years to be the best partner in the delivery of seamless journeys for our customers and tech solutions for data, insights and dashboarding to continuously improve the customer journeys and our operations.


Top responsibilities

  • You lead the daily Tech delivery operations (run & change) with exemplary role in leadership and agile mindset, creating a culture of excellence, engineering and continuous learning;
  • Supporting and coaching a high engaged multidisciplinary, selforganizing and continuously improving teams of DevOps engineers Pega and Data engineers with extensive knowledge of business process management and data engineering combined with a strong focus on predictability, quality, stability, security and continuity;
  • Accountable for the security and risk Control agenda of your department. Ensuring the right priorities are given to Risk, Security, Compliancy and Life Cycle Management;
  • Accountable for IT incident, change, vulnerability and Business Continuity Management of your Tech scope. You take the lead in case of emergency (COT/CMT procedures);
  • Responsible for financial forecast (both direct costs and indirect charging). Responsible for yearly budget process;
  • HR responsible for your DevOps teams regarding people and talent management; IT capability building. continuous upskilling and reskilling of (internal) staff to ensure they remain relevant and professional in product development within the tribe and with this responsible for Engagement and Agile maturity;
  • Shape the developing vision, strategy and roadmap for the DevOps teams in scope together with business and Senior Management;
  • Stakeholder management & collaboration over Tech departments and with the business (specific with (sr) Tech Leads, Area leads, Architecture and Product Owners);
  • Manage dependencies crossarea and crosstribe.

You and your talent

  • Academic thinking and work level with a Master degree in a relevant field of expertise
  • You are a seasoned professional in Tech delivery & change management with at least 510 years of experience in managing complex IT projects, technology solutions & management of IT Engineers and multidisciplinary teams of this size (40+ FTEs), including HR responsibility;
  • Communication and influencing skills at the highest level, aimed at motivating and inspiring employees and managing internal and external partners ( including potential conflicting interests)
  • Experience with different delivery sourcing models from onsite to nearshore and offshore.

This is what we offer you

  • Up to €117.000;
- gross per years (based on 40 hours, in scale 11) depending on knowledge, experience and education;

  • A full 13th month salary and an 8% holiday allowance;
  • An Employee Benefit Budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or choose the extra budget to be paid out;
  • A budget of €750;
- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to €40,-;

  • A personal development budget of €1.400;
- per year;

  • A combination of working from home and at the office;
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport;
  • A pension scheme to which you contribute 3,5% or 5,5% (based on your personal preference);
