    Are you a skilled engineer with a background in Jetties and Marine structures? And are you as excited as we are when we talk about the storage and distribution of bulk liquids at our state-of-the-art tanker terminals in key markets?

    As a Global Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance and support for Stolthaven's projects and existing operations. Our state-of-the-art terminals complement the capabilities of both Stolt Tankers and Stolt Tank Containers.

    Stolthaven Terminals, a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids: chemicals, clean petroleum gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.

    What you will be doing
    You will be responsible for setting up technical standards, providing advice and continuously seek improvement opportunities to optimize design and maintenance of Jetties, berths, docks, quay walls and other related structures within Stolthaven's global network. With 5 million cbm of storage capacity across 10 wholly owned and four joint-venture terminals, we give customers access to key international shipping and transportation hubs close to their operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement technical standards and best practices for jetties and marine operations and maintenance.

    • Provide technical expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of marine structures. Review designs of ongoing projects.

    • Lead global initiatives to improve efficiency and safety in marine operations.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.

    • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies and integrate them into our operations and maintenance.

    • Organizing internal training and awareness sessions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

    • Proven experience in the marine infrastructure sector, with minimum of 4 years' experience in jetties and related structures.

    • Strong understanding of marine construction materials, methods, and regulations.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

    • Effective communication skills, with proficiency in English. Additional languages are a plus.

    Extra

    • We offer the possibility to partially work remote and from our Rotterdam office located in the historic Veerhaven area.

    • The position will also require some traveling to our (overseas) locations.

    • We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package, including a 13th month.
